In terms of industrial operations, this course offers an overview of the main players in the industry, such as producers, distributors, traders and manufacturers of fragrances and flavours. Factory and laboratory processes will also be explored, highlighting production lines and the crucial role of quality control and analytical laboratories.
Quality standards and regulations are central to the programme, with modules dedicated to ISO/HACCP, regulatory services and compliance with IFRA, COSMOS and EU 178/2002 standards. Sales techniques will also be covered, offering participants an insight into sourcing strategies, costing, sales techniques and determining profit margins.
Finally, logistics takes centre stage, with an exploration of Incoterms, modes of transport, dangerous goods regulations and packaging requirements.
